The Institute for International Legal and Advocacy Training (“IILAT”) invites to it's annual workshop on "Case Analysis and Challenging the Evidence" held on Tuesday, 7 October 2025 at the International Criminal Court (“ICC”) in The Hague.
This year’s event brings together leading expertise to explore two vital aspects of advocacy: the duty to challenge evidence and the art of case analysis.
Grahame Aldous KC’s acclaimed Case Analysis Workshop has been delivered across multiple jurisdictions by popular demand. Recognised as a leading programme for legal practitioners, it equips participants with the tools to structure and present complex cases with clarity and persuasive force.
Through a practical, hands-on approach, the workshop develops essential skills in case preparation, evidence analysis, and critical thinking, showing how the closing argument can serve as a powerful roadmap for the entire case.
Whether you are an aspiring advocate or a seasoned practitioner, you’ll benefit from guided exercises, rigorous practice, and expert insight to refine your advocacy and elevate your courtroom performance.
The event will consist of two separate sessions – the first focused on the advocates’ duty to challenge evidence which is not accepted, and how it fits in the ICC system, and the second - on case analysis.
