In partnership with the Honourable Society of the Inner Temple (UK), IILAT is organising a 2-day Advanced Advocacy Training course on 3-4 June 2023 for mid-level and senior advocates.

Applicants for this course must have a minimum of five (5) years litigation experience and must have prior experience of examining witnesses in criminal trials.

The training is free of charge and will be held in person at the premises of the International Criminal Court (ICC) in The Hague. Places are limited and participants must be available for the full weekend.

The Advanced Advocacy Training course will focus on enhancing advocacy skills in all areas associated with a criminal trial. Participants will practice their skills in small groups under the guidance of experienced trainers and will receive a certificate upon completion of the course.

The Training Faculty for this course includes a judge of the international criminal court, senior UK barristers and senior lawyers, all of whom have extensive experience in teaching advanced advocacy.
